For this assignment you will be telling a story.
You do not need to be the focus of the story, but you do need to be involved in some way.
Think about a time when something did not go right, or a time when something went really well, a time when you were challenged in some way.
The story can be fiction, non-fiction, reality or imagined.
The story must be 3 to 4 pages long.
You need a thesis for your story. This is the main argument of what happened or what was supposed to happen.
Then, make sure that your paragraphs relate directly to the thesis.
As an added element, you must use 3 ideas or concepts from this week and last weeks’ reading to inform the story. After the story is written, you will write a 2 to 3 paragraph rationale (this is separate from the 3 to 4 pages for the story) for how the readings informed your story.
How did they influence you? What did you do with this information.
You have a lot of freedom here, but you must be able to explain how the readings influenced your essay.
Strong Suggestions:
Get our attention early.
The body of the essay should be loaded with details and all of the necessary context. Be vivid.
Explain what happened.
Wrap the story up. Write a thoughtful conclusion. Think about what you want your audience to take away from this story.

Chapter 10: Stress, Health, and Human Flourishing
This chapter’s big idea: Our experiences with stress and how we cope with that stress can affect both our physical and mental health.
1. Read this article. Identify the stressors experienced by refugees both before leaving their country of origin and the stressors experienced here in their new home. 2. Read this article. Referring to the sections in this chapter that cover coping with and managing the effects of stress, explain the many ways sports can help. Article Link: file:///Users/adrianamiller/Downloads/Its_not_just_the_Olympics_Sports_have_been_important_in_refugee_%20(1)%20(2).pdf
3.What is the relationship between feeling like you have control over your environment and stress? Thinking about this course, where do you feel like you have control and where do you feel like you lack it? Where you feel like you lack it, could the course be changed so that you would feel like you have more control?
4. Explain the difference between internal locus of control and external locus of control. Now imagine that one of your friends has more of an internal locus of control and another friend has more of an external locus of control. What would each friend say after losing a job? After failing a test? And after starting a new relationship? (Each response should specifically reference the job, the test, or the relationship.
5. What type of correlation is there between religiously active people and length of life? What explanations do your authors offer for why this correlation exists? What type of correlations exist between happiness in early adulthood and income in later later life? And the chances of being married in later life? Why might these correlations exist?
6.Your friend says, “Money buys happiness.” What evidence from psychological science would you share with your friend about the relationship between money and happiness? Your friend, dismissing everything you just said, replies, “Yeah, but I’d be really happy if I won the lottery and moved into a super-fancy neighborhood and got to hang out with super-famous people!” What evidence from psychological science should you share with your friend about adaptation-level phenomenon and relative deprivation?
Chapter 11: Social Psychology
This chapter’s big idea: Situations affect our behavior.
7. Describe the fundamental attribution error. Give an example from your own life. How does the fundamental attribution error differ across cultures?

c. Explain what cognitive dissonance is. Now, guess the results of these experiments. Explain the cognitive dissonance behind your guess.
1.) In one study, participants were asked to do a task. It turned out that the task was really, really boring. When they were asked to tell the next person it was a really interesting task, and, in fact, they would get paid for doing so. All agreed to do it. One half of the participants got paid $1 to tell the next person it was interesting; the other half got paid $20 to tell the next person it was interesting. Afterwards they all were asked, “Ok, really, how interesting did you find the task?” One group said they found the task more interesting than the other. Which one? Why?
2.) Researchers looked at recently-graduated college students who had been members of fraternities, some of which did hazing of new members and others that didn’t. The former students were asked how committed they were to the fraternity. Did one group say they were more committed than the other? If so, which one? Explain.

Please see order 213762502. This was a rough publish and now need to transform into final. Below is feedback from professor:
Much of this is garbled, I’m afraid, and needs a lot of work. You have a structure to your argument. I think you have the material assembled for an essay, but it is a little hard to follow for reasons I’ve mentioned already. But in addition, you do not make clear your use of evidence in terms of citations.

CAUSE-EFFECT#6
Cause-Effect essays deal with why certain conditions exist or come into being. One analyzes why something happened. It is important not to generalize or make hasty conclusions. You must decide if the paper will only deal with a cause or an effect or both. This method of exposition is extremely important. We always seek to understand the world and the people around us. We analyze a situation so that we might better understand it. Remember this paper discusses why and not how something happened.

DIRECTIONS: Write a two to four page paper using the cause-effect method of exposition. It must be interesting and you should do a little outside reading. The essay must explain why something happened.

REQUIRED IN ESSAY:
1. Clear thesis statement – UNDERLINED.
2. UNDERLINE the topic sentences.
3. State whether the paper is cause or EFFECT on the OUTLINE page. (sent with essay)
4. Rough publish – detailed outline, creative title.
5. Tell who the audience is, state your position (teacher, scientist, comedian, etc.) in the outline. (you can pick but I feel like if the audience should be someone whos effected by drugs such as a drug addict or the drug addicts family)
6. Use either emphatic or chronological order.
7. In the conclusion–summarize the main points–restate them. Have an interesting, well-worded final sentence.
8. Have fun, while teaching me something new.
9. At least one source, indicate at bottom of last page.
(Please write in complete sentences on the outline, my last writer didn’t)

Performance Task
A fundamental purpose of classroom observation is to improve student outcomes by improving the instructional delivery of teachers. During formal classroom observations and walkthroughs, school leaders learn about the needs of teachers and students alike. After viewing the video linked below, in 500 words or less, provide written feedback to the teacher by selecting 3 criteria from DPAS II Component 3 as a focus. One criterion must focus on a strength of the teacher while the second and third criteria must focus on growth opportunities for the teacher.
Here is the link to the video

I will upload the word document with the performance task directions also below

Please have the writer consults with me to determine the exact research proposal. I am open to suggestions, and I am not 100% concrete on the topic, but I do know a general idea. I am submitting the assignment details as well. If this goes well, I will probably request the same writer for products at different stages of the same topic.
